new national poll from Quinnipiac

http://www.quinnipiac.edu/news-and-events/quinnipiac-university-poll/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=2307

While it has clinton ahead 60 to 30 in democratic primary it has some good things especilly on who is more electable.

GOP Clown car-Trump 27% Rubio 17% Carson 16% Cruz 16%

GE-Clinton 47% Trump 41% Bernie 49% Trump 41%

Clinton 45% Rubio 44% Bernie 44% Rubio 43%

Clinton 47% Cruz 42% Bernie 49% Cruz 39%

Clinton 46% Carson 43% Bernie 47% Carson 41%

The electabilty arguement againt bernie is out the window.Carson looking like the idiot he is has caused him to collopse.

now let's look at favorabilty on both sides

Clinton-fav 44% negative 51%

Trump-Fav-35% negative 57%

Carson-fav 40% negative 35%

Bernie-fav 44% neagtive 31%

Rubio-fav 37% Neagative 28%

Cruz-Fav 33% negative 33%

Bernie has the best fav vs negative numbers.Clinton and trump frontrunners for both partys are more disliked than liked.

honest and trustworthy-Clinton 36% not 60%
Trump-35% Not-59%
Bernie 59% not 28%
Carson-53% not 34%
Rubio 49% not 33%
Cruz- 43% Not 39%

So bernie is seen by most as honest guy.

I am sure clinton supporters will only cite the primary numbers

1. Bernie supporters were pounded over and over with 'electability' arguments early on.

Now that we're seeing that Bernie is more electable than Clinton, look for 'electability' to be scoffed at and declared a silly reason to support a candidate.

3. It's because bernie attracts Independents and some republican crossover vote

as I expected clinton supporters are only citing the primary numbers and ignoring the rest of poll.

How do you expect to win if your candiate is disliked and viewed as untrustworthy.people seem to not remember 2000,2004,2008,
and 2012 at all in their worship of clinton.

electability will be ignored now since it no longer fits their memo.

Her Majesty's loyal subjects will just harp on about her being the frontrunner, because it's all they've got. Panem today, Panem tomorrow, Panem forever.

9. It is interesting how they tout the primary polls, but never mention that

Her Presumptiveness barely beats or loses to Republicans in the general (depending on the polls).

They LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the polls - until they don't.

but, let's remember Q does kind of lean republican even though it is viewed as one of better pollsters.

could be some aren't paying attention to other republicans only Trump and think they are better based on what others tell them

Bernie's numbers is because some republicans view him as honest and trustworthy. With Clinton it's not just republicans who
think she is untrustworthy 68% of independents and 23% of Dems think she is untrustworthy.

with bernie he is viewed as honest by 39% of republicans 77% of Dems and 64% of Independents

7. As an aside, MSNBC just was talking about this poll. Diaz-Balart and Kornacki -

The way they talked about it was in Clinton pulling away from Bernie, then they covered ONLY Clinton's electability numbers, showing her beating all Republicans, even if just barely. Didn't even bother to mention that Bernie had better electability numbers. Back to all Clinton, all the time.

it should be pointed out these are landlines only numbers which means under 50 are underpolled.i didn't catch that till usual suspects had to post poll as i expected citing only the primary poll and ignoring the rest of it.

underpolling those under 50 doesn't backup the claim she is pulling away from bernie.I don't watch MSNBC anymore but not
surprised at all by this.

of course they will ignore the electabilty numbers as well as other numbers since MSM is in tank for Clinton.
