1. NOT the sort of image we want to promote

Bernie is the exact opposite of a turkey: neither a stupid fool nor somebody's dinner.

2. Ever hunt a turkey?

Domesticated turkey's are the result of a bag of hammers mating with a box of rocks. Wild turkeys, well, not so much.

I will agree that I don't appreciate fully the optics.

3. If more people know history, the optics would be better.
