Berning Question on Twitter Re Bernie's Lunch With Killer Mike: "Who Picked Up the Tab?"

Lol, a lot of people were wondering on Twitter last night whether Bernie or Mike picked up the tab.

According to Gawker Mike invited Bernie to lunch according to tweeter, so it's most likely he paid the bill!

Killer Mike treats his pal Bernie Sanders to some chicken and yams at Busy Bee. http://gaw.kr/JR8lt31

People wonder about the strangest things!

But anyhow, that question seems to be cleared up.

The other big question on Social Media was 'what did he mean about Hillary and Maggie Thatcher'?

General consensus seems to be 'Maggie's not a good person to be compared to' so far!

Bernie's friends from his early college years say he loved to talk and could stay up all night discussing issues with anyone who could stay awake and keep up with him.

'He's the kind of guy who goes to sleep thinking about what can be done to make people's lives better' or words to that effect.

Looks like he found a kindred spirit!

don't know the history of neoliberalism and the two biggest proponents of it during the 1980's - Thatcher and Reagan.

Hopefully Killer Mike's comments in that rousing speech will get them to do some research on it. When they do, it should become quite apparent why Thatcher & Clinton seem so much alike given their economic and foreign policy positions.

There is a concerted effort to keep the younger generations ignorant to the recent past.

I wonder why that is.
