Great post, what's going on in our country? Media blackouts and vote counting irregularities in states like Kansas and Ohio. And the inanity of the TV announcers, repeating what someone has written for them, turkey gobbles and all.

to suppress freedom of speech and Bernie Sanders exposure and publicity- the corporate media, DWS and the Democratic Party in local and state areas according to voters. It's not good even though social media is doing great like Bernie & The Fans. We still deserve to be treated and covered fairly by the main media!

It's as if the corporations are saying, "Fuck you, this is the way it's going to be". It's been going on since 2000 (that we know of) and only getting more brazen. I like the idea of appealing to the corporate masters, but is that really the solution?

Even if the Entrenched Establishment Crowd tries shenanigans with the vote counts, at least we tried!

I've been really shocked this year, more than ever, to see the crap that the DNC, DWS, the Entrenched and the like have been blatantly pulling. It's as dishonest and disgraceful as any other creepy politician would do...

We seriously need a Political Revolution.

Bernie is advocating is the way. And Get Out the Vote! IF U DON'T VOTE, U DON'T COUNT as Nina Turner, former Ohio state senator said at the terrific Cleveland Rally for Bernie recently.

Dealing with money in politics, Wall Street, Corporate Media, the economy, racism, the environment and more-- the ills of the last 40 years will take major effort but what other choice do we have for the future of our children and grandchildren.

when posting so the thread circulates. When a TV station cuts out holiday parade supporters of a Democratic Candidate for President, in suburban Maryland in close proximity to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., what does it mean for the country & democracy? In the video, politicians and fans were filmed- US Congressman Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) who's running for Senate, another local politician, and a group of Hillary supporters. But Bernie supporters with their festive float were excluded.
-------

VOTE counting indeed is a serious issue and reality. We can expect 3-4 mill votes to be tampered with in this 2016 election Thom H. said I think. Voter suppression is widespread esp. since new restrictions implemented after the 2013 SC gutting of the key clause in the VRA, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by LBJ. We need PAPER BALLOTS like many countries use. Ireland got rid of their electronic machines and returned to paper.

WISCONSIN Seniors in elder centers who don't drive, now must obtain a Drivers License (and Birth Certificate with fee$) to vote. Congressman JOHN LEWIS says this is a POLL TAX, like other barriers including LITERACY TESTS used in the Jim Crow era, post Civil War into the 1960s to obstruct blacks, some poor whites & Hispanics from voting.
ALABAMA recently cut the state budget for DMV staff in many counties with black residents. DMV buildings are there, but NO STAFF to assist people with new or updated Drivers Licenses to vote.

- SELMA- John Lewis, Civil Rights leader & later US Rep. (D-GA) helped lead over 600 peaceful, orderly protestors across Pettus Bridge at SELMA, AL, on March 7, 1965. The March from Selma to Montgomery, AL, the capitol was to demonstrate the need for voting rights in the state. Tragically, armed state troopers attacked marchers on the bridge in a brutal confrontation known as Bloody Sunday.
Televised images & newspaper photographs of injured marchers, senseless cruelty & racial segregation shocked American & international audiences. The incident helped hasten passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 signed in to law on Aug. 6 by Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson, fifty years ago. ~ Remember, IF YOU DON'T VOTE, YOU DON'T COUNT ~

The right's extremism especially since 2000 is strengthened by more recent takeover of 30 STATE LEGISLATURES and many GOVERNORSHIPS by the GOP, which enables voter suppression/corruption and other assaults on democracy.
A POLITICAL REVOLUTION is in order. ATTENTION!: Major Clean Up Needed on Aisle USA!! And it's no joke.

Even with the DLC and Third Way establishment there are still open minded people in the area which you may be familiar with. And many are seeing the inequities that Bernie emphasizes.

The MD suburbs have a lot of scientists because of NIH's base there and other industries and employers. DC and NoVa also have plenty of Bernie supporters. And definitely there are numerous Hillary and GOP voters, I just don't know many.

Not everyone is a greedy lobbyist, congressional staffer or military contractor in the DMV although I understand why people have that impression. There is justification for it. The area has grown tremendously in the last 15 years in terms of exurban land sprawl and population. There are large Latino, Asian and African populations, and people from every part of the world in the metro region of 8 million.
