Who else gets that feeling...

That the PoC vote just flipped after the past couple of days and culminating with Killer Mike's wonderful speech.

Bernie doubled his popularity among black voters in the same month Hillary was supposed to have "killed it," and I think Latinos and Native Americans have been moving his direction all along.

I guess the polls (HA!) will tell us something - but I really feel it now... and not just the Bern.

There's two to start. Just read some of the recent threads, too.

BTW, my son is named after a Pharoah. It's a derivative of the name and means, "King," which is a family surname. And I grew up loving John Lennon.

Oh! You meant the polling! Glad 99 got it before I did. LOL. 99!

6. The right message
Tue Nov 24, 2015, 12:58 AM
Nov 2015

I feel very confident that given the message that Bernie is putting out, his consistency and honesty throughout the years and just continuing to grind it out day by day with an amazing strategy that has him ahead of where Obama was at this same point, that he is just going to continue to grow his support.

I also feel like the HRC camp is absolutely acting desperate by attempting to take out or drive away Bernie supporters one by one. That the 'cave' is simply disgusting and reminds me of some of Nixon's henchmen and dirty tricksters. They can't win on message so unless they are simply freepers in sheepers clothing, I suspect there is a full on freak out going on in the HRC camp.

There is an extreme enthusiasm gap in the HRC camp.

Do not get me wrong, I do not dislike Hillary, I just think that she has fallen into the trap that so many politicians fall into and that is to change ideals with one thing in mind to raise money and get elected. So many do that. Hate her policies, third way crap. Sustaining a political career the way Bernie has is not an easy thing to do...that is why he is the best candidate and the one that will save this Party and restore true Democratic Party ideals.

The story is horrible - news team cuts out on the Bernie float at a parade - but I want you to see the difference in the number of Hill supporters v. Bernie supporters:

(Hillary supporters - all eight of them - are at about 1:04)

The MSM is totally corrupt. This is just more proof that someone at the top of all the affiliates have told their stations to avoid him. Is this what we really want in this country? What the hell happened to democracy? This is unbelievable. I will send them an Email.

This is TOTAL bullshit. I'm telling you, ALL of the MSM is scared shitless of Bernie.

It sickens me to see what it's become.

I do still have hope for local news reporting, which is what I was. I worked for several local dailies for the majority of my time reporting. I mostly covered crime, but, since they were smaller dailies, I'd still cover some politics when it was election time. Local reporters care about their communities, for the most part.

I left reporting, sadly, because it simply didn't pay well and the hours were horrible. I was going through a divorce and had a small child, so I needed better pay with regular hours. I miss it terribly (I still do some freelancing and some people here know where, but I won't say publicly - I mostly do "media got it wrong" stories and how they can't seem to cover Islam with any fairness).

Needless to say, instead of "selling out" and becoming a shill, I took my Communications degree and went into marketing/PR, where I've been for another 13 years.

I miss reporting, but, gladly have Russ Baker as a friend who pulls me back in occasionally because he knows I will research my ass off.

I hope y'all know Russ: http://www.amazon.com/Family-Secrets-Americas-Invisible-Government/dp/1501263978

in advance to cover the movement themselves.

But that really is funny to see Hillary's teeny, tiny group of supporters and Bernie's army.

They must be deeply worried about all of this. Why they are trying to suppress the info. It won't work, I'm will send this video around and everyone else should too.

It proves a point.

Even Thom Hartmann, who is one of the smartest men on the radio and who shies away from conspiracy theories, went on a rant about the media ignoring Bernie's FDR speech (I'm not calling it the "socialism" speech - I'm calling it what it was - the speech about the most favorite president in our history and WHY).

Thom often mentions what the media doesn't cover, but his rant Monday was righteous.

Money is all they care about. If millions refused to watch their stupid pretend 'news' shows, their war propaganda, which many have already actually, that would be the best thing that could happen to them.

I'm calling WJLA the ABC affiliate in Montgomery Co., MD, metro DC about this tomorrow.

Rocky_? posted the video in another thread. I wrote him that it should be a separate OP pronto, and x-posted in the MD-DC-VA Groups here so folks can complain in time to make sure the station covers Bernie supporters in the local *Thurs. TG Day event. Give the station a 'second chance'.

Bernie: 80-100 supporters and a band playing in the back of a pick up truck.

Says a lot. Now where are all those Hillary supporters who were so 'concerned' about optics?

The good thing is, every day local events show this difference. People may not see it on their TV but they'll see it - AND FEEL IT - with their own eyes and hearts. As long as this keeps happening locally it will be a grassroots movement to the White House. You can't deny the passion and enthusiasm and positivity of Bernie supporters.

and steadily increase right up until he wins Iowa and NH. Once that happens, and people start seeing the headlines showing him beating Hillary in the first 2 states, then his support will start to go up exponentially, like what happened for Obama during that time. But he is doing what he needs to be doing right now in reaching out to black folks (visiting churches, small gatherings, etc.) and at the same time he is recruiting more and more volunteers to convert their friends and family. I have a large family (AA) and I intend to make the case for Bernie when we gather for Thxgiving. We don't usually talk politics during our get-togethers but this is important dammit!!
