I don't read posts that have the disgusting fly swatter and, in fact, put those people on ignore. Then I added the poster to my ever-lengthening list. The fly's distracting. REALLY. How big is it, a dot the size of a hundreth of an inch? They know why it's there in ever-increasing numbers. They're not distracted. They feel guilty.

the fly. From the dropdown menu, select "copy image location". That gives you the link. To make it "permanent" click on My Profile, scroll down to Signature Line. Click on Edit. Paste the link into the box. Click on Update! Ta-DAAA!!


I do so enjoy telling people how to get the fly.

Somebody said it was slowing page loads for folks, and I know for some people the net is already a very slow place. I figure the avatar pic shows the same solidarity as the fly without catching people with slow connections in the crossfire.

22. Actually, the fly's only 3.7kb. The avatar is 4.2kb.

So the avatar takes longer to load than the fly. (very, very, very, very slightly. You'd have to be on a 14.4 modem to notice)

Most of the fly is transparent, which adds very little data to the image.
