Unlike some that appear to vote based on
- polls, or
- personality, or
- party loyalty, or
- gender,
this voter expects a candidate to win a vote based on issues and position.
The six questions HRC needs to answer to win this vote - yes or no:
1) HRC, will you reduce US military spending by 10% each year of your first term?
2) HRC, will you reign in Wall Street power by reinstating Glass-Steagall?
3) HRC, will you break up too big to fail big-banks?
4) HRC, will you actively support repeal of Citizen's United?
5) HRC, will you denounce the TPP and work to repeal the legislation?
6) HRC, will you use the bully pulpit to support and lobby for single-payer health care?
If the answer to any of the above questions is no, then HRC has not won this vote.

#4 she's never said anything about, because it undermines both her campaign and her "foundation"
Ditto for #1.
How many reasons does it take not to vote for somebody? I think you have just scratched the surface of this goldmine.

(10,130 posts)1) HRC, will you reduce US military spending by 10% each year of your first term? NO - implied by her answers not explicit
2) HRC, will you reign in Wall Street power by reinstating Glass-Steagall? NO - has other ideas
3) HRC, will you break up too big to fail big-banks? NO - not automatically
4) HRC, will you actively support repeal of Citizen's United?
5) HRC, will you denounce the TPP and work to repeal the legislation?
6) HRC, will you use the bully pulpit to support and lobby for single-payer health care? NO - improve Obamacare
What always struck me, about #2, is that if she believes Glass-Steagall doesn't go far enough, that isn't a reason not to reinstate it. If she was truly serious about reform she'd say "Yes, we should reinstate it but we need to go further for X, Y, Z reasons". That she doesn't take this approach speaks volumes about what she wants to do.
This is a good point to make with Camp Weathervane more I think.

Her "Glass-Steagal doesn't go far enough" is the same thing - these are Hillary clinton trying to smokescreen her neoliberal stances with bad attempts at progressive rhetoric.
