He's been making the media rounds for months and apparently still holds clout, although no longer representing the people but on the Board of Directors of the New York-based Signature Bank. Barney was at the center of power when Chair of the House Financial Services Committee, 2007-2011 and earlier over his long career.
While at a Clinton Inaugural Ball in Jan. 1993, friends I was with said hello and introduced me to him at the Gay Ball in the hotel conference room next to the Illinois ball we came to attend. It was a nice event esp. since I ran into a close NY friend of my little brother who had died three months earlier.

Barney Frank never seemed cowardly, but he is part of the establishment now. I've read how the Clintons inspire fear. It's too bad people didn't see this coming and do something to stop it before it got so big.
