gather. ~ Wish there'd been more on the lead about polling after the SC Dem. Forum. Rachel said the results would also be out tmrw in the PP?. Clinton is still leading in SC and I wonder about the demo. of those polled.
>Today a young black woman in South Carolina called Thom Hartman's program to say she went to the Dem. Forum last Fri. and was very impressed with candidates, esp. Bernie. She put Bernie stickers on her car, and when she returned home from work at a health center the next day her car tires were slashed.

When Thom asked her what she thought could be done by the *Sanders campaign to increase contact and outreach to PoC and African Americans, she suggested connecting with BLACK COLLEGES, an excellent idea.
Bernie's *National Student Town Hall recently held at George Mason Univ. in NoVA was a big success, attended by many DC area college students and livestreamed to 300 campuses in all 50 states. Many US colleges with large black and minority student populations could be, and may be involved in Sanders campaign via his campus student groups.

>Rachel was a guest on Chris Hayes just before and they briefly discussed the SC Forum mostly in terms of format. Rachel was surprised when she met local democrats in SC who said Sanders should not be included (?!), a theme she said O'Malley went with at the event.

The South Carolina Democratic Forum at Winthrop Univ. was very well done, good event.

since he started gaining momentum. Many have reported here and on Thom Hartmann that when Sanders supporters show up to local Dem groups to volunteer for him, they are told they have to support Hillary or are turned away.

There is a massive move to pave the way for her among establishment Democrats. What they weren't banking on was the depth of his support.

In regards to the young black woman who had her tires slashed, this is South Carolina. I'd blame a Republican more than a Hillarian for that one.

called who was ready to join with friends, and was then told they don't take 'anyone under 35'. Another way to select out Bernie leaning younger millennials. It's rotten. With the SC woman's tire slashing, I figured it was nasty RW locals, (not HRC people).
They weren't counting on the level of his support for sure. But Do Not Underestimate Bernie Sanders!

Some poll numbers for the Forum that are glowing for her...call me suspicious but I simply do not believe that they are that good for her.

The sampling has got to be odd.

I'm also constantly take'n back how the Entrentched "Clinton 80's Era" Establishment is going all out slimy to try to coronate her...it leaves me shaking my head how rotten this is...this NOT what I think of as my Democratic Party.

The Forum's format, setting and moderating by Rachel I found very interesting. It seemed more relaxed and intimate though still professional compared to the traditional Debate stage with podium big event we'll see again with Dems. this Saturday on CBS.

talk. My grandson and granddaughter watched with me and after it was over grandson asked why O'Malley was not doing so well because he recognized that him and Bernie were saying about the same things. I told him that Bernie had a head start. Granddaughter asked how old Bernie was and laughed when I told her my age.

The best thing about the forum was that we had a known Democrat asking the questions. I really think that makes a difference.

I'm curious as whether that includes both landlines and cell phones or just landlines. One would think the results would be drastically different depending on the answer. Anyway, regardless of polls, I think Bernie's campaign knows they have a lot of work to do in SC. He should definitely make a point to visit HBCU's there, do some outreach and listening tours among the AA community. His campaign team he put together in SC is also just getting started, so I expect to start seeing his profile among AA's in SC to go up.

not that she has huge lead or big lead with blacks but 60% with younger voters besides polls like this where is any
evidance Clinton beats bernie with younger voters.

I am not going to get worked up anymore by clinton supporters posting polls like PPP to discourage us.if race was over why the need to smear bernie and his supporters as sexist or racists.
