This man speech is poetry. While he's speaking about the Labour Party in the UK, the basics are the same for the U.S. My grandparents buried their 1 year old daughter in a poupers field, not having the funds for healthcare or the money for a grave. It's part of the reason my oldest uncle raised over $750 million for St. Jude's children's hospital.

We need universal health care.

We're the most powerful country on earth. Why can't we be fully civilized?

8. Consider how much time, money and energy this country has spent trying to avoid socialism.

Consider things like spying, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, HUAC, and on and on and on, even Social Security. That's how much this country has spent to protect the rich from their fears. Sure, a drop in the bucket of it was good for the 99%, but the purpose, IMO, was to make sure the rich stayed rich.

With that, I'm packing it in for tonight. Rest well.

I don't want to think about it. I'll get mad all over again and not be able to sleep.

Sweet dreams

His British audience feels passionately about their National Health Service. I am reminded of the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony celebrating their beloved NHS. Strange and lovely.

It was both strange and lovely.

And how wonderful that a country celebrates taking care of its own instead of berating those that are in need

Self taught, multimillionaire, self made, generous to a fault, funny, extremely intelligent, kind, loving, life long Democrat.

Thank you. Thank you very much
