I can clean that forum in X ignores

What is the minimum number of ignores that cleans GD: P?

Personally, I hate to put them on ignore because it leaves each pile of crap unchallenged.

I keep hearing that a few ignores improves GD: P considerably. If you've done this, what is your number?

Edited to remove an assertion about jury duty that once was true but is no longer the case, see skinner's reply below.

8. Nice, when did that change?

How does that work? Is the ignore temporarily lifted until the jury finishes?

Do I have to take someone off ignore to read what the alert is about?

You can serve on juries for people you ignore, and for forums and groups you've trashed.

The ignore is lifted in the entire thread where the juried post appears, so you can see the full context.

The worst of what are in my opinion, trolls (first a challenge, then a personal attack, then a broad brush, you know the process). Only started recently but it does seem to have improved already.

11. If they are truly just trolling, and not just zealous Clinton supporters

If they are truly playing games, and not just zealous Clinton supporters, hit them with this.

"The bottom line for the primary is this: 'Trump and Clinton have the worst scores among top candidates on honesty:

Clinton is not honest and trustworthy, voters say 61 - 34 percent, her lowest score ever;
Trump is not honest and trustworthy, voters say 54 - 38 percent.'

It's not just about who is most popular in the Democratic establishment, or who at the moment has the most name recognition. It's not just about who has the biggest war chest to run ads in Democratic primary states. It's also about the voters we need, and who they will come out for. The numbers we're seeing say Secretary Clinton won't be able to close the deal with Independents, or win the swing states.

Less trustworthy than Trump. Let that sink in."

And I don't think those numbers have found their floor yet.

5. Putting someone on ignore does not remove you from jurying their posts.

I once juried the post of a poster I had on ignore in a forum I'd trashed.

I think you shouldn't put anyone on ignore except those that really push your buttons and get you banned .

I appreciate all you guys and gals that do battle in that hive

If you ever get a chance to see Alec Guiness in Captain's Paradise, do. I can't see it's the funniest comedy I've ever seen, but it's charming and he is sooooo good. Besides, who can resist a young Obi Wan?

There is no discussion or arguing with them that you can win or even get a draw, so, just happy to not even see them.

those are mainly people who just really have a different worldview. I don't want to be goaded into saying something I shouldn't.

But as of late I'd added the shills so I don't have to see that either. It's a much better experience now.

I just ignore them. I have to restrain myself quite a bit, though. If I spoke my mind, I would have been out of here a while ago, I'm sure. Best to keep a low profile with this bunch.
