(19,326 posts)I've been making noise on DU about how Wall St. is HUGELY backing their darling Hillary Clinton. I'm
still mystified as to why this almost never gets very much traction, and this video confirms my suspicion
that most people ONLY hear about her fiery rhetoric about "telling Wall St. to CUT IT OUT!" and remain
clueless that she IS Wall St.'s number one choice.
A corralary to that is that the Clintons don't just support Wall St. & The 1%, they ARE THE 1% as
evidenced by their income being well up over the 1% threshold. They've done very well since
Bill was president, and good for them; but please spare me all the parroting of Bernie's populist message
about reigning in Wall St.

This does get a smattering of notice on some progressive websites, like this one from Common Dreams.
While Sanders Scores Small Donors, Clinton and Bush Buoyed by Wall Street

What I don't get, is why Team Bernie is letting Hillary get away with this? Why is she not being called upon
to explain the disparity between her anti-Wall St. rhetoric and the MA$$IVE $upport she receives from the
very folks she says she's going to "get tough" with?
