Bob Fest advances the struggle for social and economic justice

For those of us who do not know about Bob Fest. Ed Schultz podcast from
there caused me to search a little. Bernie is a frequent presence there except
for this year.

La Follette inspired the pro-labor, pro-environment, pro-peace service of Wisconsin senators such as Gaylord Nelson and Russ Feingold, as well as senators such as Oregon's Wayne Morse, Alaska's Ernest Gruening and Vermont's Bernie Sanders.

Sanders, a frequent visitor to Fighting Bob Fest in the past, is campaigning for the presidency — and the demands of that candidacy will keep him away this year. He will be missed, as he is one of the few prominent national figures who clearly understand that La Follette's progressive message is arguably more necessary, more urgent, now than it has ever been.
