According to my grandson, the thing about newly politically-involved younger folks is that they are drawn to issues, not personality, not tradition, not the "who else are they gonna vote for" mentality. I still believe the only reason Bernie's candidacy was accepted was because it seemed an easy and cost-effective way to scoop up the Left and progressives for an inevitable Hillary nomination. i don't think it is going to shake out like that.
