had them pulled for copyright infringement. This shut down their channel for streaming live events. Even though they are non profit Viacom was not amused which is their right. But rather than issue a warning apparently they went after Bernie2016.tv's ability to show Bernie events.

Bernie2016.tv reached out to Viacom and other major outlets to see if they were OK showing clips. Apparently Viacom didn't get back to them but they still ran a clip leading to the shut down. I think they say that they plan to only use material they've been given an explicit OK to use going forward to make sure this doesn't occur again.

This effort is to get 10,000 subscribers and it gives them a little more clout and access with Google as well.

Here's a short video explaining how it went down and what they hope to do:

They were using clips from all sorts of sources and as John says, no one else had an issue except Viacom.

So...they are rebuilding and it will be on YouTube. If they can get 10,000 subscribers, they get some status, including access to studios in Culver City, CA! That would be a big deal!

Can we get the word out and about? Those that do FB, Twitter, Reddit and all those social media things, can posts be made? PRETTY PLEASE? For Bernie?

For those that belong to FB...can you Like them? They only have about 1600 likes.

Front page or something? It's going to be difficult getting 10k subs, I think.
