5. I am surprised to say I have been impressed by Jake Tapper a few times.

At first I thought he had no personality, but I like that he lets his guests talk. His questions were good ones & he rarely interrupted, & then, just to ask a question to clarify or get more detail. And of course, Bernie is always good & always on message.

6. Great interview

I think he was gracious to those he disagreed with and made sure it was about issues and policy. He spoke of the difference between himself and Hillary without adding in anything untoward and he praised President Obama but spoke of two areas where he thinks he would do better. It is true, we were so pumped after 2008, President Obama could have funneled our energy. Instead, most of us went to specific issues we cared about. We still have some connections to those we worked with but 8 years is a long time if you are in your 20s.

I liked how he backed up O'Malley on debates.

When the reporter asked him about the breaking news in regards to guns, Black Lives Matter and the shocking live killing on tv, he answered in a layered approach. He didn't give a simple sound bite, but was committed to answering the question completely. He held to his ideals and to the approach to these problems that gets beyond right or wrong and into what is behind them.

I am so committed to this guy!

7. Fantastic answer about gun control.

That is exactly the message he needs to get out there.

It is going to be hard for him to be attacked on that front.
