Actually you're wrong, I'm an active member of his subreddit and doing what I can to help his campaign. The amount of young voters (sub 35) who are registering to vote JUST for Bernie is literally astounding.

We need to work on putting these propaganda memes to rest. One of them is that "Bernie is too old and young people won't vote for him." This right here proves that is all bunk.

Wanna feel revved up?

[–]s0v3r1gn 10 points 2 hours ago
I am a Republican, with more Libertarian leanings, I have never voted for a Democratic candidate. But so far Mr Sanders seems to be the best candidate of any party that has indicated an intent to run. Looks like I may break party lines this time around.

I'm a young kid in Highschool, I've spent the day reading up on Bernie Sanders and I don't know how I've never heard of this guy before.
What can I do to help?

Please, just listen to what the man has to say before you cast your vote. If what he says rings true, vote for him. You're not casting your vote for Clinton or Republican, you're voting for the People!

I'm excited that as a 19 year old, he will be my first vote for President!

18 years old and I never planned on voting until I heard of Bernie. Can wait to see where he goes!

My first vote for president will be for Bernie Sanders.

[–]SolarAquarionNew York
Same with me

[–]foresstguyIllinois
Same with me! Still 17 but I'll be 18 by elections. I think it's funny (and awesome) how this 73 year old guy manages to most closely represent the interests and values of us new voters.

It just goes on and on and on. Bernie can win!

In all the posts I have read over the net, like Buzzfeed, Yahoo, Rolling Stone, Reddit, the comments have been 90% positive which is damn high.

I'm going to trot these out whenever I read young people won't vote for him. Hope we create a social media firestorm. The propaganda and the naysaying needs to go because none of it is true. Bernie can win; he's running to win. If he wins the primary, he wins the general.

for posters, "likes" on Facebook, tweets or anything of the kind. I could be wrong. His handlers might convince him that he HAS to do it if he cares about winning. But, I think he is the least like candidate to arrange for this.

Not that it''s a big deal.. I hope to heaven that people are not voting for President based on tweets.

It looks like the enthusiasm is real and organic. People spend a lot of time on social media now, so it must be mobilized to get out the youth vote. I think redditers will have it covered.

Since then, I have a feeling many do it.

People who start applauding and cheering uber loudly at speeches? I'd bet my home they're paid, maybe even actors. Some questioners, too.

Show biz.

I wanna see who steps up and publicly endorses him. I hope MoveOn swings his way and some of the glitterati who were working on Warren. He needs all the help he can get so he can compete with mountains of corporate ca$h.

I didn't think I would be enthusiastic about a candidate again in my lifetime. If Bernie Sanders didn't have the very long record of integrity and fighting for real people, I wouldn't. I hope we can make this happen, regardless of the media and corporation Koch smears that are coming. We need a true reformer this time.

Bernie excites the youth and their passion.
He will get a lot of volunteers

Hillary has a subredditt group and it is rather unenthusiastic.

I look at both right and left subforums to look at talking points and astroturfing.

With a billion or more in the coffers, in "hard" money alone, volunteers are not there for money reasons anymore.

Other countries seem to keep up more politically than we do.

I happened to be watching the second* plane hit with a 73 year old Lebanese woman who did not have as much elementary school education as our kids get.

I said, "Osama."

She responded, "yes, but they'll try to hang it on Saddam."

How long did it take the average American to reach that conclusion?

*I did not see the first. I saw the second because her son, a furniture salesman, was supposed to drive me to the airport that morning to fly back to Boston. He called to say, "Turn on the television. You're not going anywhere."
