As the campaign ratchets up...

I am looking specifically for information on the Bernie Sanders Campaign organization in Arizona. I have found the facebook page, but what I really would like is information on the offical campaign office/staff/contacts for Arizona.

If anybody knows those contacts, please post or PM me.

The official Sanders campaign site only lists a handful of States currently. I will be getting involved with my local LD District here as well (it's a bit tough for me to make most meetings as I travel in my work frequently but I may be able to connect with some Sanders people there).

Thanks in advance

I have signed up through the Sanders website checking every volunteer box that is practical for me to actually do (which is a majority of them by the way). I have looked at the AZ State Party page and I know many of the people involved in the Party here, the links are not helpful.

I do have the PDA contact information for AZ and will pursue that, the gentleman handling PDA for the west valley is actually a member of my LD group and former Chair I believe) I have also taken a look at the LD page here and have not seen any meeting notices posted for a few months. Probably just the summer in AZ.

I have also contributed $. I believe in this guy and want to do what I can.

I did not have the Bernie number. TY!

Also, I am not going to get bent out of shape over the "Sanders Campaign doesn't have the Time" reply...but I will say this:

Volunteers and Progressive Action are what this early game is ALL about. That is exactly what the Sanders campaign is lookiing for at the rallies, activists. To even suggest or for anybody else reading this to think that the Sanders campaign does not have the time to get potential volunteers enagaged is ludicris. (I am referring to the reply below, and I am just putting this out there so that ANYBODY else that reads this thread knows that is complete nonsense, and please do not let that deter you from getting involved!)

I am looking for this information as I want to assist in getting AZ going for Sanders. I plan on being a part of this State "organizing on its own"

nothing came from the official team until they were almost in Texas (meaning just a few weeks out). Then they sent a notice about where to meet. That was in Houston itself - and then we found out who we could call in the various suburban counties (regarding our actual person who was affiliated with the campaign itself). So please don't be surprised if you don't hear until after the new year. As I said I am in Texas, and I'm pretty sure Arizona's democratic primary is super Tuesday just like us. What I don't know is if Bernie's team will contact folks earlier, and how Arizona is organized. I am in Houston so it could be that the Obama people weren't that into Texas, or it could be that they were more involved in Austin (stronghold) than other cities.

That said, please look for the local democratic groups. Do a google search for "x county democratic party". As I've seen in my own county some (or all) of the officers may be for Hillary, but they still will be the ones organizing the caucus, etc. They will be getting organized early and it will be great for Bernie if his supporters are at least learning the local layout. This is what I did in '08 and I found myself selected to be co-precinct chair. The other chair was an active dem in my county, but he wanted a helper because they expected big crowds for the caucus (and sure enough big crowds were there). We have 68 precincts in my county now (very populous area south of Houston) and there were chairs and sometimes co-chairs for each precinct. It takes a lot of volunteers to make an election happen.

Just did a google "Arizona democratic party precincts" and pulled up this: http://ld18democrats.org/precinct-committee-member/

No clue where that is but it's somewhere in Arizona and sure enough they have precincts! You can get involved this way ... these are the folks who are doing things locally!

Just an aside, I am very familiar with the LDs. Ran for office here in 02. Was an LD Treasurer. Volunteered for many Dems here beginning with Napolitano, Kerry. Could not get engaged with the O folks as much as I would have liked to at the time, mainly due to a rigorous work schedule.

Wish my LD meeting here was not on Wednesdays, but it doesn't revolve around me.

I have walked, knocked, phone banked, contributed, engaged. I will focus on researching additional issue positions so I can be a good advocate, I already know why I was convinced. I need to be able to speak to other people's issues.

I know the campaign has to be laser focused on early primaries, but oh man do I want to prove 538 wrong!

you know what you need to do then! I was lucky in '08 - just a baby to cart around with me and that was easy (he was good natured). Now I've got some health issues so I won't be as active. I'm doing Paypal donations each month though. I just got an email from the campaign about contributing $100/monthly for some sort of "Bernie Superpack" sticker. That kind of thing I can still do!

The Sanders campaign doesn't have the time nor manpower to go into each individual state (other than New Hampshire). Check with your local Democratic Party contact persons or the local Progressive Democrats of America organization. Check the BernieSanders.com website for Events and also PeopleforBernie.com website for events as well.
