4. Honesty vs Marketing

In politics there is no truth in advertising. The only way to determine an honest politician is to look at the money and the record. There are 'honest' politicians representing varying point of views.

My experience after running for office was this: there are 3 types of politicians: those that truly want to affect change, criminals and morons. Not enough of type one.

Where we really win is when we get somebody who gives you the first one that also aligns with your own views.
