Danny Devito To Bernie Sanders: ‘You’re Our Only Hope, Obi-Wan Kenobi’

Bernie Sanders has been surging in popularity across the country as his message of economic justice and empowerment of the middle class reaches Americans of all walks of life.

He received a surprising and amusing endorsement from the famous actor Danny Devito, who tweeted on Saturday that:

While the Star Wars reference is pretty great, the tweet does really summarize the quiet desperation that the American public is feeling at the moment- the need for new ideas and policies, but also a deep frustration with the corruption of our political system by dark money and the corporate oligarchs. Bernie Sanders represents a new hope for America. He is the one that could finally bring balance to the dark forces in our politics.

May the Bern be with you.

2. The American public has the power, but will they be able to overcome the propaganda?

If everyone who supported Bernie's ideas voted for him instead of for a billionaire-puppet, he would win in a landslide. But they will have to do so in spite of a media that flips between ignoring and mocking Sanders, and the same media that benefits from billions in propaganda spending.

in this day and age, with the technology that connects us as well as it does, misinformation spreads faster than ever before.

but we as a people are also able to fact check faster than ever before. We've seen it in the past months, rumors start and are shutdown within a day or two.

as long as the hive mind that is the internet remains intelligent and cynical, we will filter out that which is incorrect.

I've always loved Danny DeVito.....since "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest".
DeVito nearly stole the show from Jack Nicholson.


I still occasionally watch Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia....some are better than others,
but the one where DeVito replays the last scene from Cuckoo's Nest is one of the very best.

I'm glad Danny DeVito is voting for Bernie.
