Senate Floor Speech: We Must Replace Our Corrupt System of Legalized Bribery (video)

He stands for the 99% and people are really starting to notice, and approve.

STOP IT.

That's not democracy. He doesn't "deserve" it...NO ONE DOES.

That's what Hillary Supporters say "It's her turn" "She Deserves it".

These are not democratic notions.

I want Sanders to win, because he got the votes. Period. And he'd be GREAT!

…I get what you mean but clearly the deserve referred to is for his policies, not his person. It was a response to the video speech—his position deserves my vote. Period.

Hillary supporters say "deserve" but mean "entitled", as in, she has the "right".

You know I'm not saying that.

Actually I didn't, I hear it so much "over there"
.

May I suggest some other phrase.... just because of the way it's used around here.

I dunno... how about "His record speaks to his abilities to govern"

I know, doesn't have the "zing" and is too wonky.

He certainly deserves a shot at it.

Of course, with this senate, the majority of them aren't "there" even when they are.

At the years we have presidential elections we the people should be able to vote on Congress' retirement benefits, insurance benefits, perks like free barber shops and gyms , gaps between serving in Congress and lobbying Congress.

Why do they get to decide their benefits and cut benefits to the poor, disabled and elderly?
