"The Iowa Democratic Wing Ding is a nationally recognized fund raiser that draws over a thousand folks from across the nation, and politicians of every stature. The Wing Ding is known for it’s timeless bone in chicken wings, and nationally recognized speakers such as President Obama. Many presidential hopefuls make a stop at the Wing Ding before the caucus season heats up. There is always an air of excitement and wonder at this grand event which is held in the most iconic building in all of North Iowa; the Surf Ballroom."
