PHOENIX (AP) — Three months into Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign for president, there are fresh warning signs she may be falling short with some Democratic voters whose enthusiasm will be essential to her success in 2016.

While Clinton remains the front-runner for her party's nomination, new polling by Associated Press-GfK shows a drop in her favorability rating among Democrats. Financial disclosure documents filed by her campaign show the bulk of her money coming from big donors, hinting at low enthusiasm with average supporters. And she's facing pushback on her positions from some liberal activists on the campaign trail and at party gatherings.

Clinton was noticeably absent from the roster of speakers expected this week in Phoenix at the Netroots Nation convention, an annual gathering of about 3,000 liberal activists and organizers who frequently volunteer on presidential campaigns. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a rival for the Democratic nomination, and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren planned to address the conference. Several attendees said the two liberal luminaries were pushing Clinton to the left but that they still had reservations about her candidacy.

"I think a lot of people will talk themselves into thinking what a great president Hillary Clinton will be," said Jose Martinez Diaz, a 36-year-old Democratic digital organizer from Washington, D.C.

In common law, assault is the act of creating apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact with a person.[1]........The term is often confused with battery, which involves physical contact.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assault

It's probably battery without assault as she probably didn't see it coming, no no apprehension.

It was definitely battery, and that jerk should have had his sorry ass thrown into jail forthwith!

Battery, on the other hand, requires actual physical contact. Battery is defined as the unwanted physical touching of another person. There are several different types of battery. Under the common law definition, any unwanted touching was considered battery. In most jurisdictions, battery now requires intent to do the unwanted touching. In order for a battery charge to be brought against you, you usually must touch your victim in an offensive manner and you must either know that the touching is unwanted or behave recklessly in such a manner that causes the unwanted touching.

putting his hands on anyone without invitation or authority so to do.

Several attendees said the two liberal luminaries were pushing Clinton to the left but that they still had reservations about her candidacy.

This is pure bullshit. No one knows where Hillary has been pushed, or even if she has been pushed at all. All anyone knows right now is her latest campaign rhetoric and I sure would never recommend taking that to the bank, even if were not sliced and diced.

Plus, this is just one more way of minimizing Sanders' candidacy or making us feel better about Hillary. "He'll never win, but he'll push her to the left" is something I've heard too many times already. It's may well be a talking point--it's been that pervasive already. Whether it is or not, it's bullshit.

In reality, either Hillary will be the nominee or she won't. If she is the nominee, I believe she has a great shot at losing the general. If she wins the general, it is far, far more likely that the same Hillary who has been on the political scene since high school will govern, not Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren.

i guess minorities don't like Hillary.
That's what Hillary supporters claim when white people show up for a rally in mostly white NH.

Hillary and Hillary alone is allowed to give a purely economic speech and not get scrutinized. She gave a few nods in her announcement speech, so now her work is done. Not a single policy proposal was necessary.

I started looking at some of the photos and there was another woman who was unhappy with her too.

This whole thing about people telling me who to vote for in a primary is really going too far. And the reporting of people who don't agree to support her is nonsense. It sort of reminds me of when the Repugs were talking about having to hold their nose in the general over McCain/Palin.
