In America today, we are experiencing a massive level of income and wealth inequality. While the billionaire class has never had it so good, tens of millions of American families are struggling to keep their heads above water economically. It's important that we hear the stories of those working families, and share them so that everyone in America understands what's really going on in this country.
What is life like when you are forced to work 2 or 3 jobs just to pay the bills? Can anyone really survive on $10 an hour?
How does one stay healthy without health insurance, or when deductibles and co-payments are so high that you can't afford to see a doctor?
How does a senior citizen or a person with disabilities get by on $12,000 or $14,000 a year in Social Security benefits?
What does it mean for you or your family when you pay 50% of your limited income for housing?
How much are you paying in student debt, and how does that impact your future?
What is it like to be a parent trying to find quality daycare when you are low-income?
