Please don’t take “no” for an answer from the Democratic establishment!

The long tendrils of the DNC are being used to attempt to squelch democracy by rigging the game. It flows all the way down to local party level. For example I recently saw a post about a county Dem Party sending an email soliciting support for Hillary:

Brazoria County Democratic Party - down here south of Houston - just sent an email soliciting support for Hillary.

Wherever you are, do not accept this anti-democratic behavior. Let’s organize. If there is a Bernie group in your area, join it. If not, ask your friends to help you start one. There are national resources available to help you and it is more fun than you can possibly imagine! PM me if you need help.

When you have a group going, develop a plan to take over your county party. It takes bodies showing up to vote for Bernie candidates for your local Democratic party offices. We need to go all the way down the committee precinct captain level. You may want want national grassroots expertise on getting this done!

Taking this oligarchical crap we have been served for decades is no fun. If we are dedicated to this revolutionary movement, we will have to work hard, of course. But we are daily finding joy, even ecstasy, in the struggle. And the ultimate prize is a renewed, sustainable America and a better world for those who come after.

from 50 years on the California Left Coast. How and where and who do I speak with to start up a Bernie Group in this very Red State? I don't mind that I am in the minority...I have my values safe and sound. I am in Oklahoma County. Anyone interested or any information would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: It's OK to PM me

Will try to stay off in case you call. Also, email is fine. Or send your number and I will call in a New York minute!

control over everything, began to organize around the country. They worked to put Progressive issues on local ballots and WON most of them

They found and promoted Progressive candidates at the local level and were amazingly successful. They did not go out to keep Third Way candidates in office, and they lost. They DID make sure to get Progressives reelected.

For two midterms now they have been working to rebuild our party from the bottom up. And with a lot of success so far.

Now those groups around the country will most likely have a lot of help thanks to Bernie.

The current leadership of the Dem party dismissed the base, the Progressive Base and then Progressives realized they were on their own and the seeds of a movement to restore our party to the party of the people, take it out of the hands of the Third Way/Wall St members who gained so much control,.

It will take time but with BErnie as an inspiration now it should move along a lot faster.

then HRC, but many don't get that yet. Just got back from a Dem Happy Hour where we talked about the need for down ballot consciousness and candidate development/recruitment in the Bernie movement. The revolution will require progressive coattails.
