Let's help the billionaire class adjust by teaching #RealWealth

7,000 here, 13,000 there, hundreds of thousands of contributors and volunteers, grassroots organizations galvanized - it's clear - the political revolution is coming. It's going to be quite a culture shock for the ruling class.

Our political revolution means that we demand that the billionaire class gives some things up. It's going to be hard for them. Think about how hard it wil be for someone who has billions right now and still thinks it is not enough, who still wants to rig the system for more no matter the cost to our planet and life upon it - it's going to be quite a detox for them.

I was listening to the stream of Bernie's speech in Maine tonight, and snacking on some peas from the community supported agriculture group that I recently joined. And I was thinking about wealth. Income disparity is obscene today. It's unjust. But I am fortunate enough to know that I am fortunate. So many of us are struggling, have little savings, make difficult choices and feel the stress of under-earning in a society that is willing to let us go. But many of us know what real wealth is. Family. Friends. Music. A hammock. A book. For me tonight, it was a handful of sweet peas.

We are part of a movement that is demanding that the few give up so much of what they covet, and it will be hard for them. Let's help them by teaching them what real wealth is. Because this is what they will have to hold onto when we take back the rest of what they have hoarded.

What is your picture of #RealWealth ?

But my #RealWealth is my son.

I want him to have the best what I could not have before... a future, an affordable (or free) higher education and a stable job.

Never having to fear being homeless.

Never having to fear being hungry.

Never having to fear not having access to medical care;

includes vision and dental.

I am 62.

I will never achieve my vision of Real Wealth.

One of the things I love about Bernie is that he often talks a out access to dental care.
