Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumGuys, I'm going on hiatus.
Still feeling the Bern (more than ever, actually), but the levels of alert-stalking are disgusting - so I'm going on hiatus for a week or longer. (There is also a lot of homophobia among Clinton's supporters, so I am feeling less and less welcome on this site.)
Meanwhile, I hope that all will be done to make Sanders the Democratic Nominee. I'll be back after Sanders has got it. Alternatively, I probably won't be back until November.
Love,
Betty.

(8,352 posts)I am not long for here either.
Come over to JPR. We are beta testing our 2.0 version which will have some very nice usability upgrades. Progressive voices like yours are so welcome there as well.

(6,440 posts)I want to pitch in my $27, but whether I can afford it largely depends on the result of the job interview I'm going for on Monday.

Progress is coming along. We are making haste slowly.
I'll definitely be over when you get it going. But I really am an addict for "easy reading."

(8,597 posts)And continually seeing people who are nothing but disruptive trolls get away with their ugliness gets old. Many of them will go away after the election because their job will be done.

(41,600 posts)It will be clear after all the garbage comes out about the queen 👑 and more Super Delegates start flipping.
After he wins California, ND, SD, MONTANA, NM and possibly Puerto Rico, the Super Delegates WILL flip!
This place will have a mass exodus after June 15th, so you're not alone!
Chin up and fight on! The revolution is here. Bernie is going to be our nominee.

(6,440 posts)I just hope that the People's Candidate can get past the drumbeat of "Bernie is finished" stories coming from Tammany Hall and the court media.

(14,691 posts)all those people who just registered - they won't show up to vote? They were just playing? They had nothing else to do one day and thought Hey! I'll register to vote! That'll kill some time! I don't think so.

(6,440 posts)I guess I'm just anxious. So much is riding on these last few primaries. It's not just who gets the Democratic nomination. It's the whole question of whether America reverts to being a democracy, remains an oligarchy, or slides into full-scale fascism.

(17,651 posts)In fact, I've seen more Hillary supporters act like total turds than Sanders supporters. Hopefully Skinner will be a man to his word and muzzle the worst of them before this place dies the slow death many other websites experience.
Hang loose Betty!

(1,090 posts)I got into a little trouble the other days, let my temper get the better of me. I still lurk here and drop encouragement rec's here and there, but am spending more time reading JPR, so much nicer. I've enjoyed so many people here it's hard to give it up cold turkey.

(45,319 posts)Currently they exploit her as a device for bashing at Bernie, who offends them due to their biases. They don't like Hillary either, most of them. Or so they have said with great certainty.....

(55,981 posts)Skinner says that we shouldn't be harassing each other but the Clinton supporters get a free hand. They only make up about 20% here but wield a lot of power. And they get away with shit that we can't. I have got about 80 people on ignore but still overreact to the arrogance and gloating. I got my 5th hide and it was my own fault. I overreacted to hypocrisy. I know better.
When I came here we were united against the Corptocracy that put Bush in the WH. We all were against the Corp-Media and Big Money influence in government. Funny how some Democrats forgot all that to support the new Corporate candidate. Can we spell hypocrisy?
