To fellow bernie Supporters

with the recent news we are soon going to be silenced I will soon be saying goodbye to DU.perhapes permeantly after years.

that's frusting thing that shows how biased the site runners are is bernie will fight all the way to the convention but we will be
silenced even before that. They should really rename site Clinton Underground.

When Clinton loses to Trump In november I may or may not return.

There are plenty of reasons to file a ditch why i and others will never vote for Clinton. It's been an education seeing her supporters and democratic establishment for what they really are.

Many bernie supporters haven't changed what they support at all.we can see dems for what they are and they played us for
fools over the years. This time the republican boogy man isn't going to work for me.especilly since trump and clintons were fine before this campagin.

even if bernie does well in west next week clinton will likely at least have a small number of pledged lead inlead bernie has such a huge win in california and skinner already indicted after that regardless they are declaring clinton winner.that should have to wait
till convention but establishment won't wait.

I will still be supporting bernie on social media going into convention and hope that miracle happens and he can preveil at
contested convention but it doesn't look good.

I can't put my head in sand and support her or mot speak truth on polls that are bad for her.

now if bernie could preveil at contested convnetion of course i would be back.

We're not going to be silenced. If Hillary turns out to the the Dem nominee, as looks likely to me, then we cannot advocate against her. But that's hardly silencing us.

I suspect you're being overly pessimistic about what the future holds.

We, as Bernie Supporters.. between whatever date he picked (IDK b/c I just dismissed the announcement w/o reading it b/c I don't care) and the convention have a job to do and that is to convince democrats that nominating Hillary would be a monumental mistake, not only for the democratic party, but for the United States.

How can you do that without criticizing "her"?

I was on this site from 2001-2004 and fought hard for Howard Dean and left when I was told I was not allowed to criticize Kerry or even respond (when asked) that I was going to vote for a 3rd party.

I came back to this site to advocate for Bernie and against Clinton.

Clinton won't win. She has no viable path to victory. Forgetting the fact that I would never vote her and my parents, who are lifelong democrats plan to vote for Trump over her b/c they are in the #NeverClinton camp, you just need to look at the polling and it doesn't take a genius to figure out she is going to lose and it is going to be President Trump if Clinton is given this nomination.

NOT being able to say that.. that's silencing us.

The only chance Bernie has is to keep up the pressure between June 7th and the convention.. to hammer hard to the point where public opinion turns against her even more.

We will no be allowed to make that case on this site, so I will once again leave and maybe come back in 2020 after 4 years of Trump and see if the democratic party has straightened itself out.

I continue to hope Bernie can make the case and I will continue to advocate against Clinton and for Bernie until election day wherever I can post.

like you in 2004 i was for dean and after that I relcuently came to support Kerry.Iraq was my main issue In 2004.That is why I supported Dean.I feel Kerry's unwillingness to say in 2004 he was wrong to vote for IWR was one of real reasons he lost along with
the swiftboating and what Bush pulled In Ohio.I can't abide the swiftboating of bernie on guns and race and the massive voter fraud
used to push clinton on us.I sure haven't changed my mind on iraq in last 12 years.

Polls are devesting to clinton.she is losing ground to trump.

we bernie supporters have been personally attacked by clintons and their supporters. This is so much different than 2008.Dem establishment is furious bernie stood in way of clinton's cornation.they have to pretend he and his supporters have a voice.inless
bernie preveil in contested convention after having decent performance out west on june 7 we don't.

He made it VERY clear what team he is playing for and has gone out of his way to help the Clinton supporters on DU (to degree that his actions to help them have backfired). In his "announcement" he pretty much made it clear Clinton WILL be the nominee.

My favorite part is his proclamation that there will be no purge. Unfortunately he is clueless as to what his fellow Hillary supporter will go out of their way to try to get people banned. Many of us will leave preemptively before that happens.

No, I don't trust Skinner further than I could throw him.

But I do trust him, and here's why.

I was a moderator on DU2 and I've worked on MIRT here on DU3. He was involved in both of those, and I saw how his mind worked.

We've had a 80 to 20 percent number advantage for a long time and yet, Clinton supporters have a very significant influence in MIRT and the Host Forum. Sanders supporters got kicked out if they didn't like the Clinton bias. Most alerts for Statement of Purpose (handled by the hosts) were from Clinton supporters. I suspect that most of the Community Standards alerts were from Clinton supporters. They tried to make up for their minority status with tactics to control the conversation here that were either over looked by the Admins or abetted. I want to stay and debate issues but I've found that the other side (whatever they want to call themselves) will not, with a very few exceptions, debate issues. Some of them like to attack and bully because they have the Admin on their side. My vision of Democrats is of people that will argue and debate fairly. Their vision is completely different.

consensus, so if there are one or two people who have an axe to grind, obvious trolls get a pass because those people object to banning them. I suspect that's why we have so many newbies now who've been posting smears and baiting people, yet have not been shown the door. That doesn't explain why the admins have chosen not to ban obvious trolls.

that inless i click on topic on front page i can't even so that many posts anymore.

Difference between bernie supporters and clinton supporters is we talk on issues.they attack us personly as well as bernie.we bring
up clinton's record we are attacked as GOP.we are appalled to move to right and we are atatcked.we bring up voter fraud like all those who supported bernie having registration changed or clintons shutting down polling places or other clear crooked things in
nevad aor ioa or arizona and we are called crazy.

many who supported dems for years are now called not real democrats.I have been one since 1992.some here even longer than
me.
