animal rights activists (who also aren't exactly popular on DU), this animal rights supporter emphatically does not excuse or appreciate what they allegedly did. If I were there I'd be shouting them down too.

message apparently and weren't out to hurt anyone... but they did jump over the fence. Also read that vegans have shown up to at least one other rally. I'm sure they knew they'd be hustled out of there but probably thought it was a good way to get their animal equality message into the media. (I don't think Bernie really appreciated being pushed away from the mic and body blocked by two agents. He probably would have listened to those protestors 'cause that is the kind of guy he is!)
