Fact-checking Bernie Sanders on 'Meet the Press'

Fact-checking Bernie Sanders on 'Meet the Press'

By Louis Jacobson, Linda Qiu on Sunday, May 29th, 2016 at 5:26 p.m.

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said he believes he still has a chance to win the Democratic nomination by winning the California primary against Hillary Clinton.

But whether he’s ahead or behind in pledged delegates when the primaries end, Sanders said he intends to make a case to superdelegates to support him.

Sanders argued on Meet the Press on Sunday that he’s a better nominee for November because he polls better than Clinton in head-to-head matchups against presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

"Right now," Sanders said, "in every major poll, national poll and statewide poll done in the last month, six weeks, we are defeating Trump often by big numbers, and always at a larger margin than Secretary Clinton is."

Let's look at the facts, simple as they may seem.

Bernie: Super clean record, with ample experience. Company/team person big time. If you were an employer, and ran across an employee this clean, you'd thought you found the gold standard employee.

HRC: Red flags everywhere. Sorry, I can't list all the bullshit. And there's more just over the horizon.

Which employee would you hire? No, really, which one would you hire? Be honest here.

Yep, Enough is Enough. And it's been this way for decades.

I'm completely fed up with the corrupt election process. Super Delegates voting months before it's time? Using false numbers to progress your tainted employee? It's quite sickening that we are pushing this agenda, and that we actually approve it. I could go on and on.

Fact check all you want. Bernie wins hands down!!!!
