Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumJust 500 more votes is all we need.
500 is off the top of my head, but close.
500 more votes from the super delegates at the convention, for Bernie, and he wins the primary.
We've come so far, and we are so close.
Just another 500. We can do this!

(2,603 posts)the 1%er SD's will not flip unless there is serious movement on legal proceedings. Even then, they may still favor Trump over Bernie.

(349 posts)You're right, we've come a long way ....and we're just warming up!!!!!!!!!

(13,685 posts)Not much longer and we've come from 3% to just needing 500 more. The last 500 we can all help get. There are lists of those 500 voters and we can impress upon them how we want them to vote.
The finish line is at the convention. Not one minute before.

(1,268 posts)..continue to show her losing to Chump, then the case CAN BE MADE that BERNIE is the STRONGER CANDIDATE! And if he win's Calif then you (delegates) should be able to say Bernie IS the nominee.

(6,440 posts)It's not a good look, appearing as if you're hoping for the other candidate to be indicted in order to boost your candidate. Plus, I still think the worst that will happen is a slap on the wrist. We look forward, not backward, unless you're, say, an unemployed person who got busted for possession when they were 19.

(13,685 posts)"The Inspector General just came out with a report, it was not a good report for Secretary Clinton. That is something that the American people, Democrats and delegates are going to have to take a hard look at," he said. "But for me right now, I continue to focus on how we can rebuild a disappearing middle class, deal with poverty, guarantee health care to all of our people as a right."

It isn't so much that we hope for the other candidate to be caught, it is the fact that we knew it was just a matter of time before it happened. Bernie has been talking about corruption at the highest levels and the legal problems Hillary now finds herself trapped in is because of that corruption.
Our super delegates need to know we don't want such corruption in our party.

(6,440 posts)I'm just worried that it might look that way to an outside observer, and make Bernie look bad. I think his response was the correct one - acknowledge it and then move back to the real issues.

(13,685 posts)The super delegates need to know that WE know the real story about Hillary and the privatization of the Department of State while she was Secretary.
Bernie won't outright say it, but we can: It was corruption.
She opened up the State business to outsiders who could read her State emails and base business decisions upon that inside information.
Then she lied about it and tried to cover it up.
