“Glacial pace” used to mean “suggesting the extreme slowness of a glacier.” But one can hardly use that term when scientists who track warming-induced glacial movement have found that the world’s fastest glacier is speeding up to record levels — and may more than triple its speed again in coming decades:

Story - Taylor Vaughn is the most popular girl in high school.
She just knew she would be elected Prom Queen because after all, she was Taylor Vaughn.

Then out of nowhere a "mousy" girl challenges her. Taylor would just roll her eyes at the girl, and not take her seriously. Made fun of her. Mean girl stuff.
But people were so fed up with Taylor's holier than thou attitude that the other girl almost won. Closest election ever at their high school.

At Taylor's acceptance speech she thanked all the people that voted for her, and then yelled at those that didn't.

Yes, I have daughters. That movie was popular in the 90s. It was on cable last week and I watched again.
And all I saw was Hillary.
