I will keep this in mind when it comes time to get off my ass and campaign for her still-under-investigation backside. I will be saying things like "I don't talk politics" when asked about her, since I can't very well say anything negative about her out of Party loyalty- I'd be agreeing with them so much they'd be all like "But why, then..." and I'd either have to say "I don't" and make myself out to be some kind of jackass traitor to my country or I'd have to say "Because she's a Democrat" after all that laundry list they are sure to bring up.
They wouldn't be asking that about Bernie, though. Even though they ALL know I support him. They wouldn't be all like "What happened with Bernie?" at all, though they'd speak of him. They'd be all like "The Flipping Democrats dug up dead bodies again!!!" and mean it.
It one of the smaller prices we pay. This cycle the price may be democracy itself.
On edit: Whoops, I forgot something. This was a post in response to, well, you know...I just didn't link to the post.

(39,451 posts)I don't even know if I'll vote for her.
Not going to answer any questions about her. Not going to defend her that's for sure.
We do not owe her a damn thing. She just went on CNN and dismissed Bernie. When she dismisses Bernie she dismisses us as well.

(15,139 posts)firmly up their asses that they actually believe they can write off Bernie voters and still somehow win the GE. The level of disrespect is off the charts.
I think after all that's happened this election season, from the rigged debate schedule to the unconscienable way Bernie delegates were treated in Nevada, Bernie owes the DNC nothing. I hope he takes the fight to the convention floor and doesn't back down.
In a year in which people are hungry for political change, the Democratic Party is about to nominate the ultimate insider - a candidate rejected in the primaries 8 years ago, one with a history of poor decision making who has more baggage than an orchestra on tour, and who is generally hated with a passion by Republicans. Way to go, DNC. When Trump is taking the oath of office, you'll have no one to blame but yourselves.
