Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumMSNBC used clip of chairs being thrown at a wrestling match.
Rachel Maddow ran a deceptive clip on MSNBC saying chairs were thrown while reportedly showing footage of chairs thrown at a wrestling production. (I cannot find the original Maddow clip with this as of yet). People on social media then insisted that networks had shown actual footage of chairs thrown at the convention. Maddow retreated only a bit by having Ralston on to say that even though he had not seen the chairs thrown, other eyewitnesses have told him the video is wrong. CNN had Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on to denounce Bernie Bros throwing chairs at the stage.

If you can find the Maddow clip, please post.

Also, I believe he is a close friend of Barbara Boxer as his other residence in northern Ca and he votes there -feels he can't afford to support the outraged (rightly so) Berner's, thereby alienating Babs.

(41,146 posts)is viewed as a fairly strong defender and supporter of Bernie since the campaign started. Maybe he hasn't yet seen counter info. like posted here but even with his Calif. connections how could he not have sensed more of the truth about this latest smear. Another who criticized the stunt is DU writer Will Pitt according to a post here. A month ago, regarded economist and writer David Kay Johnston even wrote a negative piece about Bernie's tax returns.
Several months back Press was the lone voice to speak out on a CNN panel about the complicated computer break-in issue with the DNC, Bernie and Hillary, saying 'I smell a rat.' It's also fairly well known that Press was involved in an exploratory dinner meeting group for Bernie's run for the presidency after Bill worked in Bernie's senate office. c. 2010 as an intern, one reason being to obtain Congress/Hill press credentials. There are DU posts about this.
Major changes with MSNBC since the campaign started especially Rachel and sometimes O'Donnell and Hayes have left me disappointed in that network and even more in the corporate media.
