A very unusual email from Joe Biden - is he suddenly trying to get a bigger profile?

My dad had something he used to say to me:

“A job is about a lot more than a paycheck. It’s about dignity and respect.”

Part of what he meant by that, I think, is that without the ability to provide for your family, you’re deprived of your dignity.

Why I’m going to Ohio today:

The change we’re making today is straightforward:

Right now, you're guaranteed overtime if you’re an hourly worker, but if you’re salaried, you’re only automatically guaranteed overtime if you make less than $23,660. If you’re a manager on salary and you work an extra 10, 20, 30 hours a week -- you often don’t get paid a dime more for those additional hours. That’s simply wrong.

...

Today, I’ll head to Columbus, Ohio to visit a business, an ice cream company called Jeni’s, with 600 employees around the country. They’ve got a management that understands what “fair” means. They’ve already begun making changes to guarantee overtime to some of their managers.

knows how reckless and indifferent to national security Clinton's actions in setting up a private email server were. If there aren't criminal indictments, the FBI will never be trusted again.

If Bernie's supporters are a threat to Hillary, who we've done relatively honorable battle with, Why the Holy Fuck would we go "yeah, sure, I guess we'll support this guy who waltzed in at the last minute just to deny Bernie his rightful place."?

Seriously folks. If Hillary is forced out, Bernie has the Dem nomination.

IMO, it's one of the reasons they're trying so hard to marginalize Bernie and his supporters.

before the convention. They know there's a damn good chance the FBI will recommend indictment. I don't think Lynch will do it, but if HRC refuses to drop out her chances of winning the GE are doomed. Even if she did miraculously get elected she would immediately get impeached.

So they are hoping Bernie will quit so that if necessary they can put in Biden to run in the GE. He's obviously not my first choice, but he doesn't have the negative ratings that Clinton has. But I really hope Bernie stays in.

I just find him slightly more trustworthy and less scary than HRC and I think he might be able to get some things done with a Republican Congress. If Hillary is elected it will be 4 to 8 more years of gridlock. As much as they hate Obama I think they hate her more.

ran a neck-and neck campaign at worst, Biden wasn't in a single contest- AND, he had his chance to weigh in and passed. I truly can't see that being a winning ticket. People would vote against it in large numbers. (You know, of the 40-some percent voters who are unaffiliated with either party). That would just be a personal stick-in-the-eye by vile "people" with a personal vendetta. (The Corporate State).

Especially if he has Warren.

And Bernie will have an easier time asking us to throw our support to Biden. After all, he hasn't been the one disenfranchising us.

But then, why is he aligning himself with DWS? Are they all tone deaf?

Even if it's dirty tricks, they seem to think Bernie supporters will stand for our guy getting cheated out of his rightful win.

The DNC should stand for the Delusional Nuts Committee.

With, "Never Joe."

I know what he's doing and it's going to fail. If the DNC thinks they can give the queen's delegates to Joe and WE THE PEOPLE will just accept it, they have a rude awakening. There will be a revolt like nothing ever seen in this country before. We're not taking their bullshit anymore. We're on to their pathetic dog and pony show. The curtain has been pulled back, they've shown us their act and now it's time to close the curtain on their sham of a play. It's OVER. They just don't know it yet.

Sorry Joe...retire and spend time with your wife and family.

I don't hate Warren quite as much, because she actually tells off the bankers, but that doesn't mean she's a substitute for Bernie. Just another "former" republican who is less scary to the bosses. And I'm annoyed that she hasn't spoken out about the obvious election fraud we are all witnessing. Cowardly on her part imo.

We get Bernie or we go Green (many of us anyway, some will do write-ins directly for Bernie if allowed in their states).
