Bernie, the archetype - a little inspiration

A little inspiration came to me the other day. I usually post in the GDP section but thought it wouldn't be appropriate there.

I thought of this as they continue to attack Bernie and try to knock him down. It occurred to me that this seemed familiar. Then it hit me. . .

Here we have a Jew, going around the country, gathering large crowds who come to hear his message. His message is about helping the poor, the least among us, helping the sick. He want to lift up the weak. And the establishment powers are afraid of him and conspire in every way to take him down, trying at every turn to find fault. Etc.

Sound familiar yet? It represents an iteration of an archetype.

In the end, those who are on the side of helping the poor, etc. are always the ones who win out.

For me, I think that if the times are really changing, have really changed, then they won't actually be able to take Bernie down. That little bird and the Pope visit seemed like a sign to me that maybe things have changed at a deep level. If they can't take him down, that will mean that the times really did change and a new age has begun.

If not, well, he won't win the election but his spirit is not gone, the movement will keep on and eventually win.

So glad I saw it this morning.

I agree completely. Bernie has ignited something in people that they have been longing for, and it isn't going to fade after this election. We're seeing history being made.
