Related: About this forumIn Pennsylvania Hillary was the only presidential candidate on the DNC's official ballot
A friend posted this on my Facebook page, commenting on a picture of the "Official Democratic Ballot" from Pennsylvania.
I called the DNC Party Office in Philly just now to confirm. They say that Hillary is the only Candidate in the Primary endorsed by the DNC so their 'Official Democratic Ballot" depicted above indicates Hillary as the only choice --- which sure sounds very 'undemocratic' to me. So, I asked, is there no other candidate running for President of the United States as a Democratic candidate? "Not another one endorsed by the Party," they replied. Sure hope Bernie goes Independent and helps punt the election to the Republicans because for sure, the Democratic party has lost my vote as well at this point.

we're going to convention. Bernie is all that stands between this country and Trump. He'll make his case to the supers. If they choose to go with her then we'll see where we are. We know the people are extremely anti-establishment this cycle (and for very good reason). They can't rig all the machines, and if they do there truly will be hell to pay.

(70,120 posts)standard party campaign lit. yes, they call it a ballot. obviously it is not. but this is the form that such mailers take very frequently. i have designed a couple myself.
srsly, if you are too stupid to know who is running at the top of the ticket, stay home.

(70,120 posts)the flyer is about endorsements. i can agree they should be more upfront about that. but that is the whole point.
coming from a local org that puts a lot of effort and small d democracy into our endorsements, hell no i'm not putting someone on there who hasnt earned it.
