Bernie Sanders projected to win Rhode Island
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is projected to win the Rhode Island primary.
The Associated Press called the race for Sanders at about 9:10 p.m. Eastern, after polls closed in the state at 8 p.m.
A poll released Sunday had shown Sanders ahead of rival Hillary Clinton by four points — making Rhode Island the only state voting Tuesday where polls showed him with an edge.
