16. polling and history

They have been doing it for years. I love the photos people take of their TV sets showing a call for Trump and all zeros. Missed it tonight but someone will post.

It's easy. Voting occurs all day. At close, digital numbers are released to everyone. They are constantly being counted as the night goes on. But at close, when numbers are released, they pretty much know whats going on. Last week, they called Trump the winner at 7:00.01. I was blown away.

Apparently there were some delays this morning and Donna Edwards asked for an extension.

The polls are still open right now, they close at 10 EST if I'm not mistaken. So to call it already bothers me, those are not fully counted yet. Not even digitally.

graphic display, report that Hillary Clinton nearly has the nomination locked up now - stated it as fact while showing a big graphic that included the super delegates who have not voted yet, betting on the fact that Americans much prefer big, colorful memes to information heavy analysis. Honestly, that Bernie is where he is now is a miracle. No wonder Clinton is so angry - she never in a million years thought she'd still be schlepping through the primaries to the end when she knew all along that she'd done the deals to get the super delegates before the primaries began, that the entire mainstream media would campaign for her in the form of "neutral" news reports, that election boards were more than willing to pull underhanded stunts to suppress the vote. The longer the primaries go on, the more the US is exposed for the utterly corrupt country that it is. Good. So glad Bernie is staying all the way up to the convention.
