I was told in 2007 or 2008 that firms were spending around $3/4 M/day confusing issues related to health care reform online.

My source didn't tell me who was doing this but he did say that they "argued both sides" and when I asked him how they did it he referred me to an academic paper about influencing cockroach behavior with pheromone daubed matchbook sized cockroach robots.

Their goal is typically to make intelligent conversation futile. People may not realize how successful they are.

They never see what could have been.

Many more have shown up quite recently as their budget was just increased by $1,000,000 (that we know of.)
So your are correct, but some have been here longer.

It is no longer 'we the people', it is we the corporations. And we the paid cheer leaders and story tellers. Most of us are tired at this point. On both sides I suspect. I am going to go walk the dog.
