TIME TO PANIC
(1,894 posts)I asked a new DU member(a Hillary supporter that was in the Bernie group), how much David Brock paid them, and they alerted it. Apparently you can't ask members if they're paid trolls even if they insult you.
artislife
(9,497 posts)and you can. Short stay and already posting OP after OP and large post counts. This means they paid to join. Who the eff pays to join a site when you don't have to in the beginning?

(14,459 posts)The fact that we have something solid backing it up just confirms it for all of us.
Keep in mind also that they are paid to post- I played with a few of them during the cycle to confirm my suspicions, but on general principle, ignore them and do not engage. Let them try and justify talking to themselves for their paycheck.
TIME TO PANIC
(1,894 posts)No point in engaging them.

(14,459 posts)Very few of them believe what they are posting, it's just a tactic.
We're not all racist, sexist BernieBros to them, just people getting in the way of their bonuses.

(11,546 posts)and i do not understand it.
If anyone said some stereotypic comment about a woman or a person of another race, everyone would be RIGHTLY up in arms. But evidently being older is something to be mocked and jeered.

(872 posts)Ageism is fine, apparently.
I got a post hidden today in the middle of a long thread with most people saying exactly the same thing as I did. Juries, run amok. another reason why Liberals probably need another home than DU. I guess if JFK had posted his why I am a liberal speech here, he'd have been thrown out too.

(11,546 posts)post. The "smirking Clinton faces" part? That's NOTHING compared to the things that I've seen Bernie called AND left alone!
I need to get over to JPR. This place is going to hell in a hand basket.

(4,775 posts)We can see where the line here was. Saying a 3rd Clinton term would be worse than a 1st Trump term. Though I have not seen the post, only the remark on Swilton's Transparency page, so don't know the full context.
Sad to lose a good long-time member, RIP swilton.

(12,629 posts)I think most Bernie supporters will exit one way or the other. Pretty obvious to me why we've been allowed to stay this long.
The plans were for her to run unopposed, you know.
