voting for another candidate printed on the ballot.

The write-in votes are more or less lumped in to a "does not matter" bin, along with the votes for "Mickey Mouse" and "Reagan's Ghost". They are unlikely to be counted.

If your goal is to vote for Sanders, go for it.

If your goal is to indicate to the Democratic party that it is not doing well, vote for a candidate listed on the ballot so that it will be noticed.

in most states, afaik, write ins are not even tallied if there is not a registered write in candidate.
might as well write in zippy the pinhead, or donald duck.

I could never support someone who is so lacking in moral and ethical standards. They are obsessively driven by power and greed.

which is much more difficult because it always involves 'death' and this system
is resistant to that level of change. It can't be changed from the inside out because
those on the inside won't voluntary 'die' for the better good.

Absolutely zero chance I vote for her. Writing in Bernie as long as he has a heartbeat or I'll cast my first 3rd party vote since 1980. I consider that vote the greatest regret of my political life because of the amazing character and truly inspirational leadership characteristics of the guy I should have vote for (Jmmy Carter). I have no fear of feeling that regret about not voting for Billary.

I learned the wrong lesson then and became too loyal to a party that continued to drift away from its core principles. If she I nominated, the Democratic Party no longer exists.

My vote is my own. People died so I could vote. My vote is earned. It is not given away.

You can't guilt me about my vote. You can not emotionally manipulate me regarding my vote.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to earn my vote. I am not at fault for disagreeing with or choosing not to vote for a candidate.

This very personal choice is my own.

I will never vote for her. I would not vote for her if she were running against the devil.

A vote for Hillary says you approve of corruption, incompetence, and the Democratic party moving further to the right.

I plan to vote for Bernie. Hopefully as the nominee, but failing that I will write him in.
