Town halls on MSNBC on Monday.

Chris Hayes with Bernie during his normal timeslot, followed by Hillary with Rachel Maddow during hers.

Chris had an interesting segment tonight where he was talking about how Bernie has been outraising Hillary and how impressive/surprising that is. Interesting to note that although he's going to ask Bernie about his options going forward, there was the assumption that Bernie would be assessing that after California--in contrast to a generic MSNBC promo for next Tuesday's coverage which basically asked whether Tuesday would be Bernie's last hurrah.

And it's three months before they actually vote. If Bernie can go on outraising Hillary, that's not going to be good for her.

4. I see where you're going. I think the fear of Hillary is strong with all establishment gems.

Plus, they know they can't raise any money from people like Bernie because they are all like Hillary.

And what are the voters going to think of the supers for backing someone at risk of being indicted, especially supers in the states where the voters went for Bernie?

5. A triple-team set up in which Bernie should absolutely decline to participate IMHO.

Now, were they to put Hillary & Rachel first followed by Bernie and Chris...

...that would work. ...IMO.

it was the worst puff piece I've ever seen. If Hillary's camp didn't give Rachel the questions to ask, then Rachel and her staff did an outstanding job of divining the questions Hillary wanted.

9. This will be a true town hall format.

How cooked the audience and questions are--well, we'll see. But Bernie's done surprisingly well, even when the questions sounded like plants. Hillary, much less so, even with questions that should be softballs.

It will be an hour of Chris Hayes asking Bernie when he will drop out and endorse Hillary followed by an hour of Maddow pointing Hillary at Trump. Bernie would be better off doing another rally in one of the Tuesday primary states and passing on this farce.

12. It's an hour of audience questions, aired in prime time.

Bernie's done well at such venues in the past, even when the questions were meant to trip him up. There's nothing I like better than seeing him go into a debate or town hall in front of a skeptical audience and win people over.
