3. Interesting read

It's obviously written with a bias, but putting that aside, it does try and back up all of its claims with cited material.

The first point is moot. Americans saying they won't vote for a socialist due to a gallup poll.

First counterpoint, not all Americans participate in Gallup polls. I've never even seen one. What are they and how do you even vote in one? That alone should prove that it's not representative of the American voter.

Second counterpoint, Bernie is quickly informing the American people what "socialist" actually means, and they're turning out in droves to hear that message. If you want a better gauge of his popularity and acceptance amongst regular American citizens, look anywhere else. Facebook, Actblue, his rallys, etc... They're all honest numbers that aren't from a petri dish of people.

The second point is also moot. It's as if the author wrote that opinion piece from within a bubble. Look everywhere, there is PLENTY of discontent with Hillary.

I've actually engaged my coworkers in political discussion, they are from many different backgrounds, man, woman, black, white, veteran and civilian, all from different income based classes as well and they all agree that Hillary ain't what she used to be. "There's something off about her" they all say. They've seen her become a bit more power hungry and war mongering over the years.

But it can't be denied, yes Hillary is more popular right now. But if Bernie weren't a realistic threat then Hillary's constituents wouldn't be slinging mud THIS EARLY in the race at Bernie. He wouldn't be second fiddle to her in the media's eye if he weren't a threat. So that article can put it's hands over it's eyes and ears and go "lalalalalala" all day but seriously... It only takes a little bit of observation to understand that Bernie winning is FAR from impossible. It's actually VERY much possible. Hope my counter points help you OP.

Now that I go back to the article and read that super ridiculous mathematical analysis they had going on in the second section....

Take note that this entire section of mathematical theory is just... completely irrelevant! It admits that all of it's numbers come from the year of 2008 and 2012.

LMAO, I'm sorry but the statistics of 2008/2012 cannot possibly be applied accurately to the year of 2015. Too many variables have changed, so for the article to say "It is a near statistical impossibility for Bernie to win." is completely ridiculous and backed by theory only.

The fact this article ends with "Regardless of the opinion pieces you read — fairy tales don’t exist in real life." makes me laugh even harder because of the obvious fact that this article is in fact.... an opinion piece!!

Okay I'm done now.

This effort will only get worse as the threat of Bernie grows. Ironic isn't it.
