A Future to Believe In GOTV Rally Concert In Manhattan's Washington Square Park on 4/13

Join Bernie Sanders for a Washington Square Park rally featuring Special Guests Vampire Weekend, Spike Lee, Rosario Dawson, Shailene Woodley, Linda Sarsour, Tim Robbins, and Graham Nash.

Music starts at 7:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served. General admission entrances located at SW and SE corners of the park.

For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. Public transit is encouraged. No public parking available on site.

I'm not as young as I used to be and standing around... I read somewhere the music starts at 7. I don't care about the damn music. I also really don't like to be fenced into a big crowd - I had been thinking the overflow area would be fine. Now I just learned he has another event the early eve. of Monday the 18th in Long Island City, near the East River. A couple of speakers but no entertainment. That sounds like more my speed these days.

I feel exactly the same way. Me auld bones can't be standin around anymore and me auld ears don't want to hear anything too loud unless I want to have ringing in them for a fortnight.
