the rural, more conservative vote tends to trend Hillary. Those results come in first. The bigger cities and larger towns with universities/colleges--tend to get their results in later. They trend Bernie.
Especially true with a caucus. Some rural areas have extremely small caucuses, and those returns come in very quickly. Those areas in Iowa broke for Clinton (more conservative) and I imagine that trend would follow in WY.
So, it makes sense that early returns in this state would fall the way they are.
