is the Brooklyn Cyclones. A minor league team for the NY Mets, they play in Coney Island. It's a great stadium, without a bad seat in the house. Tickets are much more reasonable than they are for a major league game, and they cater to kids.
I have been there several times, and had a great time.

AND, right across the bridge are the Staten island ssshhhh Evil Empire's -- same NY/PENN League. Short-Season A.
And MY team in the NY/PENN league-- The BATAVIA MUCKDOGS !!
