http://www.gallup.com/poll/8938/historical-favorability-ratings-presidents.aspx
President Average Net Favorability during their term
Eisenhower 72%
Kennedy 78%
Johnson 57%
Nixon 62%
Ford 49%
Carter 43%
Reagan 43%
GHW Bush 48%
Clinton 13%
Hillary -15%
Stats from 2003 so I didn't use GW Bush's numbers or try to get Obamas - both which would be low. (Obama roughly +30 when elected, GW Bush about +12 when elected)
Those numbers and that trend ought to set off alarm bells as unelectable.
The GOP are not going to sit back and let those numbers improve.

(631 posts)Her favorability ratings took a dive the month that he announced he was running for President, and have only sunk deeper since. Using Bernie as an ethical / moral barometer would sink many politicians because there is no comparison. She is hit especially bad because all of the labels stick so well.
