With Sanders they would shout socialist and communist and that will only get the extremes. maybe they will take the Sanders is a bad husband film by David Brock,( he is one of them already). I have to say I have one the "socialist" argument with some conservatives by insisting they not go on roads and sidewalks because they are socialist thing, never call the police of fire department, and hen talk about the privatized fire departments that let homes burn down. Socialist gets old fast to them. But you mention HRC and people go apoplectic in their hatred, there is nothing to argue, they just plain hate her with such a strange passion, and I ma not only talking Tea party, I was at a kind of funeral (don't ask) and most people there were in their 20's in a liberal state, and I mentioned Hillary, and they all just kind of said they hated ehr, and did not want to discuss it more, these are people who are democrats. It was weird.
and yes, my personal experience is not science, it is just a personal experience, nothing more, believe or don't. I happened after saying something about democrats better than republicans, not proposing one candidate after another. the experience with talking about socialism is with my older antiabortion tea party friends, they actually did not get into the red scare stuff.
