(10,345 posts)What happened to all our research about this being Hillary's last good day? From here on out Bernie is solid. Remember how many delegates California has?

(15,730 posts)despite what we had heard, very little of the black vote anywhere. When people were making decisions, there was no news of a person called Sanders. Even in Arkansas when I wear my Bernie shirt hardly anyone knows who he is.
I believe it has proven so far that the media does indeed control the elections. It is hard to fight the state political machines and the media at the same time.

(454 posts)For an unknown the man has built a base on common folk's donations and cobble together a rather strong race from basic obscurity.
10 years ago that would have been impossible. With young people cutting the cord for TV, we are seeing more and more inability of the media to control things.

(15,730 posts)very good political machine that have operated more than 100 years. They know what precincts to have low count of ballots, which ones need highway exits blocked, etc. I can not think of many states except New York that still have powerful machines. Bernie got the message out that resonated with the people. There is a new dialog now. No matter what he has achieved a lot.

They can run their machine as long as they like, It will either be dismantled by the masses or rust into dust for their are no more peasants.

(533 posts)Without winner-take-all GOP Ohio Trump faces a broker convention. I think the worm turns for him now.
But we will see.

(23,576 posts)Hillary is not trump.
He is far more dangerous.
I voted for Bernie and still have hope he won in my state of Illinois.
But, I know I have to vote for Hillary in the general. It's just the way it is now.
Back to the lesser of two evils. trump is just too dangerous.

(6,238 posts)Call me petty, but if Sanders does pull out the nomination I am going to be post the most condescending "Party Unity" post that has ever been written, because the Hillary supporters are fucking infuriating with their arrogance.
